Harold Frank Khilling, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ashton Place Health & Rehab Center in Barling, Arkansas. He was born on September 25, 1949, in Lavaca, Arkansas, to the late Augusta Forrest Khilling and Hester Helen (Threadgill) Khilling. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Khilling.

Harold was a graduate of Lavaca High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church near Bloomer. Harold loved to fish and set around and visit with friends. He never met a stranger. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 4th, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. graveside service held at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, located northwest of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Buddy Corbell.

He is survived by two daughters, Marisa Buskirk and husband Michael and Sonya Matthews, all of Alma; a son, John Khilling of Fort Smith; two sisters, Rebecca Douglas of Branch and Sondra Graham and husband Ronnie of Alma; a brother, Junior Khilling of Lavaca; and five grandchildren, Madison Buskirk, Alyssa Matthews, Beth Khilling, Kinsley Matthews, and Zane Matthews.
