The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will jointly host a public meeting May 30, to discuss the proposed replacement of the Highway 62 bridge over the St. Francis River, located on the state line between Dunklin County, Missouri and Clay County.

The public meeting will be held at the St. Francis Baptist Church in Francis, Arkansas.

To access the meeting materials, visit www.modot.org/62StFrancis.

Exhibits and additional information will be added to the website prior to the public meeting.

It is anticipated Highway 62 will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge during construction.

In addition, the boat ramp access at the Highway 62 bridge will be temporarily closed as work is underway. During this time, the public can access the river via the Chalk Bluff Trail Access. This will be discussed further during the public meeting.
