AMFA, Few earn Webby award nomination
The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA) and Little Rock-based digital design firm Few have received international recognition as a Webby award nominee for the “The Story Project,” an immersive digital initiative aimed at celebrating personal narratives intertwined with art.
“The Story Project” has gained international attention and recognition for its unique digital experience inside the arts and culture industry. Through this initiative, AMFA invited individuals to share their personal stories and images, inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and collections, on an interactive digital platform.
As a nominee for Best Websites and Mobile Sites – NetArt in the 28th Annual Webby Awards, “The Story Project” has received worldwide attention. As a Webby Nominee, the work was singled out as one of the five best in the world in its category, meaning it’s among the top 12% of the 13,000 projects entered.
The Webby Awards are considered “The Internet’s highest honor.”
“It’s always exciting to work with Few on projects, but this one in particular is very special to us,” said Malina Tabor, AMFA’s Director of Marketing and External Affairs. “‘The Story Project’ was born out of a desire to foster connection in our community, so we are thrilled to see it earn this level of national recognition.”
“It’s a huge honor to be recognized for the engaging digital experience our team created for the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts,” said Arlton Lowry, Partner at Few. “Going up against 13,000 submissions from talent around the world is no easy task, but our team was able to rise to the occasion. The strategists, designers, developers, managers and leaders at Few are some of the best in the world.”
Winners of the Webby Awards will be announced on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with an opportunity to deliver one of The Webby Awards’ famous 5-Word Speeches.
