Engineering firm Crafton Tull of Rogers announced Wednesday (Jan. 24) it has promoted Alison Wynne to chief financial officer. Wynne moves into the role formerly held by Jim Tull, who is now chief strategy officer.

According to a news release, Tull’s new role focuses on growing the firm organically and through mergers and acquisitions. He joined the firm in 1993. His late father, Lem Tull, co-founded Crafton Tull with Bob Crafton in Rogers in 1963.

“Alison has been fantastic for us, and I know she will do an outstanding job as CFO,” Tull said. “I have always worn many hats during my three decades with Crafton Tull, but this change allows me to focus on smart, strategic growth.”

Wynne joined the company in 2022 as vice president of finance. Before that, she had a 16-year career in public accounting. Wynne is a certified public accountant and maintains technical expertise in financial reporting, GAAP, internal controls and specialized knowledge of accounting for employee benefit plans and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs).

“I am grateful for our leadership team at Crafton Tull and for the trust they have in me,” Wynne said. “I look forward to continue working alongside Jim in his new role.”

Crafton Tull President and CEO Matt Crafton believes the change strengthens the company and will benefit its more than 300 employee-owners.

“When Crafton Tull became 100% employee-owned in 2019, we set ambitious goals for growth,” Crafton said. “Since then, we acquired a 40-person firm in Hot Springs and opened a new office in Jonesboro. This change helps us keep that positive momentum towards growth and expansion.”

As part of the reorganization, Crafton Tull promoted Dee Dee Carlile to vice president of finance. Carlile has worked in various accounting roles with the firm for 27 years.

Crafton Tull offers professional services including civil and structural engineering, architecture, surveying, landscape architecture, planning, and environmental services to clients in the public and private sectors. The firm operates from offices throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma.
