Jason Robinson, co-founder of IntegriTech in Lowell, will open a coworking office adjacent to IntegriTech's office.

IntegriTech, an information technology services provider, plans to open a 3,200-square-foot coworking office in Lowell. The new coworking space, called Railside, is expected to open in January.

Jason Robinson, co-founder of IntegriTech, said the new space could become a model for more coworking offices throughout Northwest Arkansas. Railside will be adjacent to IntegriTech’s office at 107 S. Lincoln St.

Railside will include nine offices, open workspaces, a shared conference room and kitchenette with coffee maker. One office will allow up to four desks, but most of the offices will be for one or two occupants. The open workspaces will allow for about 20 people.

Members can use their smartphones to gain access to the space 24/7 via Bluetooth connection, he said. Railside is expected to accommodate a market unique to larger coworking offices such as Ledger in Bentonville and CoFounder in Rogers.

“We’re embracing the industrial aspect of Lowell,” he said. “The building we’re in is right on the railroad tracks. That’s how we came up with Railside.”

A Northwest Arkansas native, Robinson said the idea to open a coworking space came about when IntegriTech launched in 2017. Demand for the spaces rose during the COVID-19 pandemic, and he doesn’t expect that to decrease.

With IntegriTech next door, he said staff can provide support to members who might need it. The goal is to grow into other locations, allowing for a seamless experience for its members using the additional locations.

Member pricing has yet to be set. Robinson expects Railside to accommodate 40 or 50 members. Prospective members can sign up online after the website is launched at workrailside.co. Railside will offer members a mobile app, allowing them to communicate with staff and learn about the coworking space.

IntegriTech has nine employees and has leased office space on South Lincoln for about three years.
