A real estate watcher tells us major renovations are happening at the former Tables & Ale building at 102 N. Block Ave. in downtown Fayetteville. Here’s what’s happening.

In summer 2022, Block Street Corner LLC, led by Cameron Clark, paid $925,000 for the 5,438-square-foot building. Tables & Ale, a popular watering hole and pool hall, and a dry cleaner (Four Seasons) were the tenants.

Those businesses have since closed. Once building renovations are completed, Clark says that Fayetteville apparel company B-Unlimited will lease about 2,000 square feet on the building’s north side for a new retail location. Clark’s father, Ben Clark, is a co-owner of the business.

A new restaurant tenant — still under wraps — will occupy the building’s south side. Clark, an executive broker with Bennett Commercial Real Estate in Rogers, says a large outdoor patio is part of the restaurant’s design.

“Hopefully [we’ll] be able to formally announce the restaurant in the next month or two,” Clark said.
