Chase bank branches are expected to open this fall in Bentonville and Springdale.

The consumer banking division of New York-based JPMorgan Chase & Co. opened its first Northwest Arkansas branch on Dickson Street in Fayetteville in February. Chase started its expansion into Arkansas when it opened a Little Rock branch in July 2021.

David Howell, market director of banking, said a branch on West Sunset Avenue in Springdale is set to open in late October. The new branch on South Walton Boulevard in Bentonville is expected to open in late October or early November.

The 3,150-square-foot branch in Springdale will be led by manager Archie Cole, Howell said. Diane Bader will manage the 4,164-square-foot branch in Bentonville.

Each branch will have between nine and 11 employees, including two relationship bankers, a private client banker and three associate bankers and specialists for home lending, financial advising and business banking, Howell said. The branches also will have three ATMs, private client offices, a night depository and free Wi-Fi.

“Chase branches are designed to be advice centers for customers and clients, combining modern design, open layout and state-of-the-art banking technology that reflects how customers engage today,” Howell said. “Both branches are staffed with employees from the local communities.”

The Walton Boulevard branch will be south of the existing Walmart Home Office and in a new shopping center with Starbucks. The West Sunset Avenue branch will be in a former dry cleaner space in front of a Walmart store.

Chase has yet to set any plans for additional branches in Northwest Arkansas.
