Tyson Foods’ early origins were in downtown Springdale more than eight decades ago with the Tyson Feed & Hatchery business founded by John W. Tyson.

Just eight months into the job, Danyel Bischof-Forsyth has parted ways with Tyson Foods. She was the Springdale company’s second chief technology officer (CTO) within the past year.

Bischof-Forsyth joined Tyson Foods in mid-2018 as a vice president in the IT department. She supported the company’s poultry, prepared foods and supply chain divisions during her tenure. She took over as CTO this past January after Scott Spradley abruptly left the company.

The company has not commented on Bischof-Foryth’s recent departure but has deleted her information from its website.

Spradley joined homebuilder Lennar in March as its CTO, and he is based in Miami. Bischof-Forsyth has not updated her social media pages to reflect the departure from Tyson Foods, which was effective last week, sources told Talk Business & Politics.
