Lindsey & Associates veteran Melanie Gabel pursues dream, opens Gabel Realty in Fayetteville

Lindsey & Associates executive Melanie Gabel has left the Fayetteville-based real estate company after nearly 20 years to launch her own business.

Gabel Realty is now open at 2907 E. Joyce Blvd. in Fayetteville. According to a Tuesday (Aug. 15) news release, the business specializes in real estate services for those moving into and out of Northwest Arkansas.

“I have always dreamed of having my own real estate company,” Gabel said in the release. “This is not just a job to me. It’s a lifestyle and a passion. Whether you are a first-time home buyer, a seasoned investor, or a homeowner who wants to sell, I’m here to continue serving my community the same way I do now — with a different office address.”

Gabel is a well-established Realtor in Northwest Arkansas who is consistently ranked among the top 25 Realtors in the region in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s annual Top 100 list.

In total, Gabel has over $330 million in real estate sales during her career. This year, she has sold more than $26 million in residential real estate.

According to the release, Gabel obtained her real estate license in 2005 and became a real estate broker in 2009. She spent more than 18 years working with Lindsey & Associates. She was one of the youngest brokers and senior vice presidents in the company’s history.

“I have loved every second of working at Lindsey & Associates, so making the decision to open my own business was difficult,” Gabel said. “The timing just feels right now. I am so excited for this new chapter in my life and at the thought of building something for my daughters and our family.”
