Connections: AWWA Southwest Section honors Olsson’s Hammond

Brad Hammond, the leader of Olsson’s Fayetteville office, received the George Warren Fuller Award from the Southwest Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The AWWA presented Hammond with an award plaque at its annual conference and exposition in June in Toronto, Canada.

The award recognizes Hammond’s distinguished service to the water supply field on a regional level.

Hammond has been active with the AWWA Southwest Section for over 20 years and served as the section’s chair in 2022. He has also held board positions in the American Council of Engineering Companies/Arkansas and the Arkansas Society of Professional Engineers.

Hammond specializes in design projects for water and wastewater systems at Olsson, a nationally recognized engineering and design firm based in Nebraska. The company entered the Arkansas market in January 2018 when it acquired Fayetteville engineering firm McGoodwin Williams & Yates Inc. (MWY).
