NWA Workplaces is organizing monthly business education events to connect entrepreneurs and potential business owners in the region’s startup ecosystem.

The first program is from 3 to 5 p.m.  May 11, featuring Martha Londagin, an executive consultant with Startup Junkie Foundation in Fayetteville. It will focus on getting a business up and running.

Other planned topics include estate planning for business owners with attorney Dequeshia Prude and a series on business fundamentals for self-employed tradespeople led by NWA Workplaces founder and president Jon Cadieux.

“Traditional education is not the only path to success,” Cadieux said. “I’m looking forward to sharing the business skills I learned and found most useful as a homebuilder, contractor and sales and marketing professional, which I hope will be especially helpful during this time of massive growth in Northwest Arkansas.”

Cadieux started NWA Workplaces in 2015. The company has two Bentonville locations and offers private office space, co-working services, meeting rooms and virtual offices to various businesses and organizations.

The in-person event is at 3604 N.W. Frontage Road in Bentonville. Attendance is free, but pre-registration is required through Eventbrite.
