Arkansas-based Everett Auto Group is in growth mode and already planning for expansion at one of its newest dealerships.

According to Benton County property records, the privately-owned company paid $4.79 million for approximately 7 acres along northbound Interstate 49, north of the Oak Street overpass that’s under construction. The deal closed on May 12 and was made in the name of Everett Buick GMC LLC.

The site is adjacent to a 7-acre tract Everett bought in April 2022 for $3.65 million through its Saline Signs LLC. Both parcels are contiguous to Everett Volkswagen of Rogers, a 6-acre development that opened earlier this year at 4510 W. Poplar St. C.R. Crawford Construction of Fayetteville built the 25,000-square-foot dealership.

An Everett Auto Group spokesperson said part of the undeveloped land would include Infiniti of Northwest Arkansas. That project is in the design phase, and a groundbreaking is expected before the end of the year.

Everett Auto Group, headquartered in Bryant, was established by acquiring an existing dealership in 2006. Dwight and Susie Everett and two of their sons-in-law, Chad Hendrix and Brandon Hudspeth, own the business.

The family owns four dealerships in central Arkansas — Everett Buick GMC, Everett Chevrolet, Everett Ford and Infiniti of Central Arkansas. The company said those stores represent the nation’s top GM dealer by sales volume, the top volume Chevrolet dealership in the region, the top volume Ford dealer in Arkansas and the state’s top volume luxury dealership.
