Talk Business & Politics, in partnership with First Security Bank and the Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce, will host a “Better Communities” town hall on Tuesday, March 28 in Searcy.

The event will be held at the Harding University Founders Room, American Heritage Conference Center at 915 E. Market Avenue in Searcy from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include a free lunch. There will be two roundtable discussions and a Q&A with audience members.

“Searcy sits in a unique region of the state and has been making great strides in re-envisioning the community. There are two major economic and community initiatives underway, and I’m looking forward to hearing more about them as well as learning more from locals about the progress,” said Roby Brock, Talk Business & Politics Editor-in-Chief.

The roundtable participants are:

  • Arkansas Secretary of Commerce Hugh McDonald
  • Reynie Rutledge, First Security Bank Chairman and CEO
  • Adam Hart, Hart Construction
  • John Hite, Bryce Corporation

The panel discussions will center on initiatives in the business and political community to help grow the region and how the state can better partner with local efforts.

The event is free, but participants must RSVP at this link.
