Marriott, school district deals top the Craighead County transactions list

McCain Lodging Jonesboro LLC made the most significant residential and commercial property transfer in Craighead County, from June 15 through July 15, according to the Craighead County Assessor’s Office.
The company spent $11.9 million to buy the Courtyard by Marriott hotel on East Johnson Avenue. The deal was completed June 29.
The Nettleton School District made the second most significant real estate purchase in the region during the period. The district bought an office building and acres in the Freeway Industrial Park for $3.5 million. The deal was completed July 1.
In the third largest real estate deal in the region, Flex Properties LLC bought residential acres on East Parker Road. The deal was for $1.86 million and was completed June 29.
