Class of 2022 Forty Under 40 Kane Whitt Partner/Agent CSK Hotels/Moses Tucker Partners, Fort Smith

Watching his family make real estate investments led Kane Whitt into commercial real estate.

He began a career in the industry in 2006 when he joined CSK Hotels, a diversified real estate investment firm. He’s a partner in the family-owned company named for his father, Chris Whitt, half-brother Storm Nolan and himself.

He’s responsible for development, acquisitions and operations and has more than 1 million square feet of commercial real estate under management. His greatest accomplishment has been surviving two of the most significant economic downturns in the hospitality industry.

In 2020, he joined Moses Tucker Partners as an associate. He’s been a broker for First Security Bank on its Fort Smith real estate transactions and involved in investment and revitalization projects in downtown Fort Smith.

The Fort Smith native has been a real estate agent since 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

His greatest achievement as a broker was brokering the former Golden Living building to the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education. He said the community outreach involving health, wellness, education and art would have a lasting impact.

His goals include continued growth, diversification, and expansion into new destination markets.

Whitt co-owns Honda Power Sports and River Valley Relief, both in Fort Smith. He’s also a partner in Arkansas Natural Products, a cannabis dispensary in Clinton.

He supports UAFS, St. John’s Episcopal Church Sack Lunch Program and is involved in mentoring and outreach programs, such as the Fort Smith opioid coalition combating prescription drug abuse. He enjoys hunting, fishing and mountain biking.
