Little Rock-based Roadway Management Technologies receives national award

Roadway Management Technologies (RMT), headquartered in Little Rock, is the recipient of the 2022 Top Tech award given by the American Public Works Association.
RMT has been awarded this distinction two years in a row.
In 2021, RMT was presented with APWA’s Top Tech Award for their innovative Asset Management System.
RMT has developed a data collection system for city and county fleet vehicles. Using sensors under the vehicles, they collect data on road conditions on a daily basis and in relative real time.
This data allows for predictive modeling to determine the quality of the roads and helps provide estimates on longevity for maintenance. The end result allows local governments to prioritize costly road repairs.
