Apartment complex, Movietown are top Sebastian County property deals in June

The sale of an apartment complex in the southwest corner of Grand Avenue and Interstate 540 was the largest Sebastian County property deal in June and, at $9 million, the largest county property transaction so far in 2022.

FS3 Holdings LLC sold the apartment complex at 5901 Kinkead Ave., on June 7 to Rampart Enterprises Inc. for $9 million, according to info from the office of Sebastian County Assessor Zach Johnson.

Black Bison Company LLC bought the former Movietown property at 8434 Phoenix Ave., on June 10. The property is near Black Bison’s retail store which sells specialty coffee and gifts, art, jewelry and other items. The $1.1 million deal between Black Bison and Movietown Inc. was the second largest deal in the county during July.

Clifton Ladd sold a home in Fort Smith to Fausto and Maria Sanchez for $1.05 million, which was the third largest June property deal in the county.

Prior to June, the largest single property deal for the year was the $6.7 million January transaction for the property on which Red Lobster is located in Fort Smith. Because I Love Horses LLC sold the property on Jan. 24 to 1120 South Walton Partners LLC. Corporate records show Fort Smith businessman Kane Whitt as organizer of 1120 South Walton Partners.
