Bentonville architect joins Kansas City firm’s C-Suite

BRR Architecture, an Overland Park, Kan.,-based firm, appointed John Frank its first chief innovation officer. Frank leads BRR’s Bentonville office and has been a company principal since 2014.

Frank manages one of the firm’s largest clients, Walmart Inc. More than two dozen prototypes have been developed, maintained and rolled out by BRR for Walmart over the past 30 years. Over 10,000 new construction and remodeling projects have been completed in domestic and international markets through the partnership.

Frank also carries out the firm’s work around net-zero buildings. His experience spans retail, grocery, hospitality and industrial sectors.

BRR also recently appointed a new president and CEO. Mariah Meyer is the sixth president and first female to be named as president & CEO in the firm’s history.

Andrew Maass also has assumed the COO role.

BRR has approximately 300 employees. The Bentonville office at 700 S.E. Fifth St. has 21.
