Bryant-based Middleton Heat & Air recently opened a new office along Interstate 49 in Springdale, its first Northwest Arkansas location.
The 15,000-square-foot warehouse at 3920 Cawood Lane will be home to more than 25 employees trained in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services. The company is recruiting and attracting skilled labor from the area and employees from its other offices, said Mark Middleton, president and managing director. It has a full-time recruiter seeking skilled workers to fill open positions.
“We are proud to expand our industry-leading commercial service and HVAC installation business to Northwest Arkansas,” Middleton said. “As one of the state’s largest and most trusted HVAC companies, we are thrilled to have a dedicated local presence in the area and to provide our expertise to more Arkansans.”
The Springdale office will focus on commercial services and existing projects including new construction of commercial buildings, banks and schools in the area. The company will offer services such as design and build, new construction, sheet metal fabrication and HVAC retrofitting.
Before opening the new location, the company had performed commercial work in Northwest Arkansas for the past two decades without an area office, Middleton said. Employees had traveled from the main office to complete work, and materials would be provided from a fabrication shop in central Arkansas.
Middleton noted that other large commercial HVAC companies in the state have a Northwest Arkansas location.
“This is a vibrant area, to which we bring over 40 years of industry knowledge and experience,” Middleton said. “We’re committed to support this community growth and provide the best commercial HVAC services Arkansas has to offer.”
Middleton spent about a decade in the 1980s in Northwest Arkansas earning his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Arkansas. His parents, Chuck and Anita Middleton, founded the company in 1976. Middleton Heat & Air has about 320 employees and five offices in Arkansas.
