Class of 2021 Forty Under 40 Jeremy Bobo Co-Owner District 21 Group LLC, Rogers

With a clear vision for content marketing and brand strategy, Jeremy Bobo co-founded a go-to-market creative service agency this year for retail and e-commerce digital platforms.

Potential clients include several men’s grooming and women’s health and beauty companies with whom Bobo already has relationships. As the sales arm, Bobo is defining and finding opportunities and actively prospecting to build partnerships with companies ranging from startups to mid-sized businesses.

Originally from Little Rock, Bobo played soccer in London as part of a high school select travel squad, then was recruited to play for Lyon College, where he studied computer science. He left school in 2006 after his junior year when he and his brother won the Independent Artist Award show, receiving MTV’s “Pimp My Ride” royalty contract. Bobo moved to Fayetteville, where his brother was in college, to build an in-home music studio. Because of their growing families, their group disbanded in 2012. In 2011 they opened for Snoop Dogg in front of 10,000 students.

Bobo had done freelance graphic design work for his music and local businesses, building up a portfolio he presented to New Creature in 2013. Hired in an entry-level design job, he transitioned to account manager and then senior director of business development. In 2018 during a mass layoff, he left New Creature. Bobo rejoined the resulting smaller niche marketing firm in 2019. In July, Bobo and Paul Rutherford amicably parted ways with New Creature to follow their vision.

On the Teen Action and Support Center board, Bobo frequently donates his services for fundraisers as co-owner of OneLife Events. To relax, he enjoys spending time with his family.
