American Freight acquires 3 FFO Home stores in Northwest Arkansas

FFO Home stores in Siloam Springs and Fort Smith have been acquired by Ohio-based American Freight and re-branded as American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance stores. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The American Freight stores in Fort Smith are at 8300 Highway 71 South and 8819 Rogers Ave., Suite A. The Siloam Springs store is at 3758 Highway 412 East. A grand opening was on March 12.
The acquisition and re-branding as American Freight are expected to preserve jobs that might have been lost had the FFO Home stores permanently closed, according to a news release. The American Freight stores will include a wider selection of furniture and mattresses and the addition of appliances, the release shows. American Freight offers same-day-delivery on all in-stock items, flexible payment options and a layaway program.
“American Freight is the one-stop shop for home needs and provides access to a wide assortment of quality furniture, mattresses and appliances at everyday low prices,” said President and CEO Will Powell. “American Freight gives customers who used to shop at FFO Home an enhanced customer experience, with additional products and payment options.”
The 25,000-square-foot stores include living room furniture, bedroom furniture, kitchen and dining room furniture, mattresses, frames and bed accessories, rugs and accents, refrigerators and freezers, washers and dryers, cooking appliances and dishwashers.
Hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Customers who visit the FFO Home store online will automatically be redirected to the American Freight website, AmericanFreight.com.
In 2020, American Freight combined with appliance retailer Sears Outlet and furniture store FFO Home. The company has more than 350 stores in 40 states and Puerto Rico.
