Ritter Communications has hired Jeff Chapman as Vice President and General Manager of the telecom company’s Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) business sector. Chapman manages the strategic plans and initiatives for Fiber-to-the-Home infrastructure and services in new markets.

Ritter Communications CEO Alan Morse said the company’s Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) business sector is rapidly growing with many FTTH projects planned for 2021. Ritter Communications offers a full suite of residential services including internet, phone and television service packages.

“After a nationwide search, I am pleased to welcome Jeff to our team,” Morse said. “His Fiber-to-the-Home knowledge paired with his years of management experience provides superb leadership for our FTTH team.”

Chapman, a native Arkansan, brings FTTH knowledge and experience to Ritter Communications with his most recent role as Executive Vice President – Operations for NorthState Communications in High Point, North Carolina.

In addition to managing multi-million-dollar fiber deployment projects, Chapman managed a substantial FTTH build at NorthState Communications. Chapman’s industry experience also includes roles as CEO of Bridgepoint Communications in Dallas, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Construction for FiberLight in Atlanta, and management experience in sales, network engineering, operations and support at PEG Bandwidth, Covad, New Edge Networks and more.

Chapman has a business administration degree from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.

“High-quality, reliable and affordable broadband internet services are more crucial than ever. These connections have become just as essential as water and electricity, in businesses and homes,” Morse said. “Chapman’s expertise ensures Ritter Communications offers the most advanced fiber residential services to underserved communities while continuing to provide our exceptional customer service experience.”
