Arvest Bank has promoted Deania Vanhoozer to vice president, community and business relationship advisor and hired Selena Barber as marketing specialist.

In her new role, Vanhoozer will develop and manage business relationships with members of the community and Arvest’s business account holders, serving as an advisor to help meet customers’ financial business needs. She also will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations and area non-profits.

Vanhoozer joined Arvest Bank in 2018 as vice president, private banking advisor. She has six years of experience in financial services and 11 years of experience in the healthcare industry as sales and operations manager for St. Bernards Healthcare.

Barber and Vanhoozer are based in Jonesboro.

“Deania and Selena have been invested in this area for a long time by serving in leadership roles of various organizations and through volunteer efforts,” said Kevin Hufstedler, community bank president of Arvest Bank in Northeast Arkansas. “They are both great assets for our customers and this community and we look forward to the continued accomplishments they will achieve in their respective positions.”

Barber joins Arvest Bank with 19 years of bank marketing experience in Jonesboro and across Arkansas. She most recently was senior vice president of business development for Centennial Bank in Jonesboro and previously was marketing director for Liberty Bank.

In her new role, Barber is responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans including advertising, public relations, events and seminars for the Northeast Arkansas region. She also will help coordinate contributions, sponsorships and in-branch promotions for Arvest.
