Connections: WelcomeHealth appoints new board members

Fayetteville-based WelcomeHealth (formerly known as the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center) recently added three new members to its governing board.

The addition of Dr. Bill Dill, Karen McIntosh and Erica Rochelle gives WelcomeHealth 10 board members. The clinic offers free medical and dental care for the underinsured and uninsured in a state of the art facility.

WelcomeHealth operates using volunteer physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, technicians, and lay volunteers, coordinated by a small paid staff and governed by a volunteer board.

Patients that do not make more than 200% above federal poverty level quality for services regardless of their insurance status.
