Popular Bentonville restaurant The Buttered Biscuit is expanding — again.

Just a few weeks after announcing a second location in Springdale, the breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant announced plans Monday (Sept., 23) for a third location.

Owners Anna and Sam Russell now say they will open a second Bentonville location before the Springdale store opens. The Buttered Biscuit will open in November at 1001 S.W. Regional Airport Blvd., west of the I Street intersection.

The Springdale store opening has been pushed back to January 2020.

“We are so excited to be able to extend the mission of bringing breakfast to food deserts and also help alleviate the parking problem that our Moberly location has experienced,” Anna Russell said. “We have been searching for a solution to help with this issue for over 2 years.”

The Russells opened The Buttered Biscuit in April 2017 at 1403 S.E. Moberly Lane in Bentonville, near the intersection of Arkansas Highway 102. They bought the 2,800-square-foot building from Tommy “Boot” Baker in February 2017 for $639,779.

It was the first restaurant venture for the Michigan transplants who moved to Northwest Arkansas a little more than a year earlier.

The second Bentonville store will be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Cabe Ranch Leasing LLC, led by Fayetteville builder Kyle Naples, is the owner of the single-story strip center. The 13,000-square-foot building was built in 2016. The building also has a cross-access parking agreement with Flagstone Church of Christ to the south to share a large parking lot.

The Buttered Biscuit is leasing an approximately 2,400-square-foot end cap space with a patio. It was previously occupied by Reggie’s NY Pizzeria. Other tenants include Supercuts, Lavande Nail Bar, Angus Jack’s and CBD Plus USA.

Mac Tatman with Flake & Kelley Commercial in Springdale represented the landlord in the deal. David Erstine with CBRE in Fayetteville represented The Buttered Biscuit.

Tatman said the building has two spaces (1,591 square feet and 1,890 square feet) still for lease.
