Jetton hires Shawnie Carrier as director of strategic development

Paragould-based Jetton General Contracting has hired Shawnie Carrier as director of strategic development.

Jetton General Contracting is a 42-year old independent general contractor specializing in complex and fast-paced construction projects across multiple industries.

Carrier has previously served as Business Development Sales Manager for the Embassy Suites Red Wolf Convention Center on the campus of Arkansas State University for O’Reilly Hospitality Management. She is also the former executive director of ASU’s Delta Center for Economic Development.

Carrier’s economic experience includes serving as President and CEO of the Arkadelphia (AR) Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce.

She is also a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the IEDC Economic Development Institute (University of Oklahoma); the Harvard Kennedy School; and Leadership Arkansas.
