Achievements: Over the past 25 years, Elder has led successful businesses in construction, real estate development, property management and film and digital media production. She has developed and produced films for nearly a decade and built a full-service production film studio that opened earlier this year in Fayetteville.
What has been the most fulfilling moment of your career thus far? The times I have had the opportunity to work with both my sons in two different industries. Another fulfilling career-based moment was in April of this year when my son Blake and I opened Rockhill Studios.
What one word best describes you? Intensely-focused.
What is it that drives you in your career? Helping others utilize their skill, talent and work ethic in a cooperative and positive atmosphere is what drives me each day.
What is the strength of Northwest Arkansas? The strengths I think are progressing are diversity of the community, generous private and corporate charitable giving and cohesiveness between the municipalities within the region.
What is the next big personal or career challenge you plan to take on? Securing relationships for Rockhill to provide more contracted video on demand products and to increase the awareness within Northwest Arkansas that there is a state-of-the-art facility for corporate and entertainment content production.
