On behalf of our entire staff, it is our privilege to present the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 10th annual issue dedicated to honoring 15 young business professionals in the Northwest Arkansas and Fort Smith metro areas who are rising to the top of their fields.

Whether they are making an impact in a large organization or charting their own course in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, this year’s Fast 15 have all demonstrated qualities of difference-makers and a passion for their work.

Once again, we had a tremendous response to our call for nominations, and this year’s diverse group was chosen from a talented pool of candidates. To be eligible, individuals had to be under the age of 30 and need to have proven to their employers and peers that they are on the fast track to success.

By highlighting these ambitious up-and-comers, who were selected by members of the Business Journal editorial staff, we hope the Fast 15 inspires and motivates others who may join this select group in the future.

You can find out more about the members of this year’s class in the current issue of the Business Journal. They all have unique stories, and we hope you will enjoy learning more about them and why they were selected for our 2018 list of winners.

In addition to the profiles in this issue, the Business Journal will formally honor this year’s class on Tuesday (May 15) during a networking event at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House on the University of Arkansas campus, with keynote remarks given by Blake Woolsey, who was most recently executive vice president at Fayetteville public relations firm Mitchell.
