ASI opens Mountain Home office, appoints new managing partners

Conway-based insurer American Safeguard Insurance (ASI) has opened a new location in Mountain Home and promoted and appointed Jeremy Davis and Jason Smith as managing partners. ASI announced the news Thursday (Feb. 1).

Davis has served as commercial agent for the company since 2004, and Smith has worked in a similar position since 2010. Before he joined the company, Smith was an agent with Farm Bureau Insurance.

The Mountain Home office is at 1004 Highway 62 East and managed by partner/agent Rob Coleman and supported by agent Cassie Alkire. They are area natives and experienced in the insurance industry, according to the release. ASI — Mountain Home serves north central Arkansas and offers insurance products and services, including auto, home, business, life, health, disability and long-term care.

“These are great milestones in the evolution of our company,” said Jeff Standridge, chairman of American Safeguard Group Inc. “Jeremy and Jason have both demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout the past decade, and I am excited to have them as business partners and members of the firm’s leadership team. We are also very proud to announce the expansion of our physical footprint in north Arkansas, but even more so to have Rob and Cassie join the company. They are fantastic additions to the ASI family.”

ASI is an independent insurance agency that serves 28 states and owns a surety bond division called BondAmerica. The company has 15 licensed agents serving commercial and personal insurance lines, including life, health, disability and long-term care insurance.
