What is it that drives you in your career? My family, which includes the people I work with. I am driven every day to compete, complete and dream up the next tasks that will keep us moving forward.
What one word best describes you? Passionate. When I am involved with something I give it my all.
What was your first job? My first actual job was sacking and carrying out groceries for a chain called Albertsons. I worked there all through high school. But, well before that I started working for a batting cage. I would load the machines as they would run out of balls. I took this job because I used the machines for free when no one was around.
What’s the last book you read? Actually, the last book I read was “The Hobbit” by J. R. R. Tolkien. My eighth-grade daughter was assigned it for English. Since it happens to be one of my favorites, we read it together. The last non-fiction read for me was “Not Everyone Gets a Trophy” by Bruce Tulgan. It is a great read on managing Generation Y. The book I spend the most time in is the Bible.
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working? Anything that includes me into the lives of my children.
