Colliers International Arkansas announces merger with Irwin Partners
Colliers International Arkansas, the state’s largest commercial real estate and property management firm, has announced a merger with Irwin Partners, a full-service commercial and investment real estate firm.
Both companies are based in Little Rock but have second offices in Northwest Arkansas — Colliers International in Rogers and Irwin Partners in Fayetteville.
The merger is effective Oct. 2, according to a Colliers International news release. On that date, nine Irwin Partners employees will join Colliers International’s workforce of 96 employees.
Irwin Partners’ active listings will also transfer to Colliers International, according to the release, as well as the firm’s managed properties including St. Vincent West in Little Rock, Little Rock Logistics Center in Maumelle and One Steele Plaza in Fayetteville.
“This transaction is a fantastic opportunity for both firms to build on each other’s successes,” Kevin Huchingson, president and CEO of Colliers International Arkansas, said in the release. “Colliers inherits the incredible talent and expertise of the Irwin brokers, partners and support staff and the Irwin team benefits from the vast network of professionals within the Colliers organization locally, nationally and worldwide. It is truly a win-win for everyone involved.”
“Irwin Partners has a high level of respect for the Colliers organization,” said Jim Irwin, a founding partner of Irwin Partners. “We feel the merger combines similar cultures and strengths and we look forward to being a key component in their success.”
Colliers International Arkansas is part of the global Colliers International network of 396 offices in 68 countries.
As of 2016, Colliers managed and leased 15.2 million square feet of commercial space and completed lease and sale transactions worth a combined $475 million.
