CHI St. Vincent adds five physicians to state network

Little Rock-based CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute has added five new physicians in locations across the state, further enhancing the quality of care for the region.

CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute has more than 30 locations in Arkansas. The addition of five cardiologists, including one at a newly-opened clinic in Monticello, is designed to help CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute meet patient needs.

“Over the years we have built the most diverse network of heart specialists in the state,” said Marcia Atkinson, vice president of CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute. “Our doctors are not only skilled in diagnosing and treating heart disease but they also have a collaborative spirit. It’s their focus on teamwork that brings out the best in patient care. I am honored to welcome these five cardiologists to  CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute. ”

Following are the physicians hired by CHI.
• Dr. Indranill Basu Ray is practicing at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas-Little Rock. He is an electrophysiologist who served as a faculty member at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass., and the Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans and recently completed a fellowship in electrophysiology at the Texas Heart Institute, Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston.

• Dr. Yazan Ghosheh most recently completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease. He joins CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas- North Little Rock.

• Dr. Trace Garner a cardiologist who graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock recently completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. Dr. Garner brings his expertise and interest in serving rural communities to CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas-Monticello. The Monticello site is the newest CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas location.

• Dr. Nazneen Tata is an interventional cardiologist who attended medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, and completed her cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y., and her interventional cardiovascular disease fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. She joins CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas-Hot Springs.

• Dr. Deepali Tukaye is an interventional cardiologist who completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She also has a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular physiology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. She joins the Conway Regional Cardiovascular Clinic.
