On Wednesday, May 3rd, Talk Business & Politics takes over the central Arkansas Political Animals Club. TB&P host Roby Brock will lead a legislative roundtable that includes Sens. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock, and Jeremy Hutchinson, R-Little Rock, and State Reps. Mary Bentley, R-Perryville, and Clarke Tucker, D-Little Rock.

The event is sponsored by the Political Animals Club and will be held at the Pleasant Valley Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets, which include lunch, are $25.

RSVP to Susan Edwards at [email protected] to reserve your spot.

The panel will cover aspects of the most recent regular session of the legislature, including guns on campus, tax cuts, the separation of the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert E. Lee holidays and other dominant issues. The group will also tackle the first special session of the 91st General Assembly as it will wrap up earlier that morning.

Attendees can also expect a pretty lively discussion of the recent state executions, which will surely be a topic for debate in the near future for Arkansas legislators.

“This is always a fun group to be in front of. With the wealth of political knowledge in the room and on the panel, we’re sure to have some spirited debate on many important topics,” said Brock. “My thanks to PAC President Rex Nelson for extending us this invitation and allowing us to participate with the club.”
