Dan Cowling, president of The Communications Group, a Little Rock-based marketing, advertising and public relations firm, announced today the company has promoted Jason Brown to director of public relations, managing the agency’s public relations staff and services.

He serves on the board of directors of the Public Relations Society of America/Arkansas Chapter and the nonprofit B Street Rib-off. He is also a drummer for Arkansas blues band, Brown Soul Shoes.
