As a partner at Lundy, Allard and Co., Bart Allard oversees all the company’s accounts and helps inform and educate his clients.

Allard, 34, said he always knew he wanted to be in business and thought a University of Arkansas degree would best help him accomplish his goal.

“I thought it would be beneficial to get a degree in accounting because it’s the backbone of business,” Allard said.

After his first two years at the UA, Allard took a three-and-a-half year break from school and traveled to Bavaria where he worked on ski patrol at a resort.

Upon returning, he completed the final two years of his degree and, after graduating in 1994, took a job with the public accounting firm Moore Stevens Frost in Little Rock.

In 1997, Allard decided to return home to Rogers. He established his own company in 1998, but soon combined his practice with Mark Lundy in 1999 to create Lundy, Allard and Co.

Allard said he is most proud of his company’s ability to hire and retain quality staff while being able to efficiently serve his clients.

While still relatively small, Allard’s goal is for Lundy, Allard and Co. to become a major player in Northwest Arkansas’ accounting industry within the next five years.
