Surgeon joins Northwest Health

Patrick C. Schiefelbein, a doctor of osteopathic medicine and board-certified general surgeon, joined the medical staff of Northwest Health and will practice at Surgical Associates of Northwest, according to a news release.
The clinic is at 2900 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 300 in Bentonville, and Schiefelbein is accepting new patients by referral.
“We are excited to have Dr. Schiefelbein as a new member of our medical staff,” Sharif Omar, CEO of Northwest Health, said in the release. “He brings talent and capabilities to serve the growing needs of our community.”
Schiefelbein graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Mo.
He completed residency training at Michigan State University General Surgical Residency Program at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, where he served as chief resident. During residency, Schiefelbein’s exam scores ranked in the 99th percentile for American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
