Dr. Clint Turner has started at FirstCare Family Doctors — Springdale, a MANA clinic.
Turner’s background is in sports medicine, and he has experience working in emergency departments and in urgent care.
Turner is board certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in sports medicine. He completed family medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, and has a medical degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
His specialties include medical management of athletes of all ages, sports clearance physicals, preventive health care, acute care and emergency medical care. He’s treated athletes with chronic diseases like Type 1 diabetes or high blood pressure and sports injuries.
He’s a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has worked in rural New Zealand, serving residents of Oamaru in his family medicine practice.
