Conway has landed another Fortune 500 company.

Already home to top-tier companies such as Acxiom, HP, International Paper and Kimberly-Clark, Insight – a global provider of information technology solutions – announced it will add a sales center in the Meadows Office and Technology Park in Conway. Insight expects to hire 50 more workers in Conway to its new, existing workforce of around 170.

“It is a rare honor for an Arkansas mayor to welcome a new Fortune 500 company to their city,” said Conway Mayor Tab Townsell. “And when the company’s values and culture are such a fit for the community — it is a distinct privilege. Insight’s commitment to Conway is yet another vote of confidence in our workforce and quality of place.”

Tempe, Arizona-based Insight was founded in 1988 by Eric and Tim Crown. Since inception, the company has grown to total revenues of $5.4 billion and a worldwide workforce of 5,700 in 22 countries. Insight finished 2015 with total net income of $75.85 million. It provides IT solutions in the private and public sector.

Insight set up shop in Conway in April of this year and has been hiring steadily in June and July.

“Insight’s decision to locate in Conway is another great example of the momentum in Arkansas’ tech sector,” said Gov. Asa Hutchinson. “We know our workforce will provide the company the talent needed to thrive in the state. Conway, through strong partnerships with local universities and innovative programs, has established a reputation as a hub for technology-based companies.”

“From the day we arrived in Conway, we have been excited about the people, the community and the opportunity for growth,” said Steve Dodenhoff, president, Insight U.S. “We are thrilled to be expanding into Conway and look forward to delivering an even greater level of service to our data center clients across the country.”

The company’s stock closed at $26.94 on Monday. Shares of Insight (NASDAQ: NSIT) have traded between a low of $18.26 and a high of $29.39 during the past year.
