KATV Channel 7 on top of Nielsen ratings in central Arkansas

KATV Channel 7 was the most watched newscasts in central Arkansas according to the November Nielsen ratings. Channel 7 News finished the year on top in all newscast time periods, including morning, evening and late news.
Channel 7 Daybreak dominated the mornings with an 8.2 household (HH) rating (KTHV 5.5, KARK 3.5), and led in all key demographics. KATV showed growth over November 2014 in households and demos, while their competitors posted ratings losses.
Talk Business & Politics with Roby Brock airs Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on KATV Channel 7.
KATV extended their lead in the early evening newscasts. At 5 p.m., KATV came out on top with a 12.1 household rating. (KARK’s 6.8 and KTHV’s 6.2). Channel 7 News at 6 p.m. delivered a 14.8 HH rating, more than doubling the competition (KARK 5.9, KTHV 6.0). KATV also won in all key demos.
Finishing out the night, Channel 7 remained ahead in the ratings with a 9 HH rating at 10 p.m. (KARK 4.6, KTHV 6.9).
