Dr. Karl Haws and his clinic will join MANA Medical Associates to establish the group’s seventh FirstCare Family Doctors location at 307 South Thompson St., Suite A, in Springdale on Oct. 1. Haws is the 10th physician in 2015 to join MANA Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas, an independent physicians group.
Haws will continue to provide comprehensive family medical care, wellness exams and disease management to adults and children at his location on Thompson Street in Springdale. His medical partner, Dr. Craig Cooper, is retiring at the end of September and will no longer practice medicine at the Thompson Street clinic.
Haws has hired physician assistant Greg Smith to work with him to provide acute care and wellness care and is currently recruiting to add another physician to the practice.
Haws has more than 20 years of experience practicing family medicine in Springdale. He is a fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine and is on the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
“We are pleased to be adding someone with Dr. Karl Haws’ reputation for excellent medical care to our group as well as our seventh family medical clinic serving Northwest Arkansas,” says Jason Wilson, CEO for MANA.
As part of the MANA physician group, Haws will have access to practice efficiencies and support staff. He will have access to MANA’s certified full service laboratory, imaging services and an array of specialists who are part of the MANA network.
