Concert goers will take a musical journey into a true Lakota story of struggle, loss, healing and triumph. Experience the healing power of ancient human connection to the horse nation, and how we all can be lifted up by their strength, and grounded by their balance. This incredible new music is drawn from Two-Hawks' powerful experience on horseback for 135 miles with hundreds of other Lakota people in the brutal winter of South Dakota in remembrance of the tragic events that took place at Wounded Knee in 1890. And while paying homage to that experience, the music also speaks of the healing power of the human relationship to the horse.
