Hub International (HUB), a leading global insurance brokerage has entered the Arkansas market with the recent acquisition of The Holmes Organisation. Veteran insurance broker, Eric Herget, who has been with Holmes since 2011 and in the insurance business for 20 years, will lead HUB’s efforts in the state.

“I’m excited about HUB entering Arkansas. The company will offer a wide array of products and services unique to the state’s need,” said Herget. “The combined strengths of Holmes and HUB will make for a dynamic team, offering expertise in key industries and strong leadership in our commercial insurance, risk management consulting, employee benefits and private client divisions. The marriage of the two will provide resources both in terms of access to expanded insurance and risk offering as well as operational and carrier relationship efficiencies. It is a great fit for the two companies and for Arkansas.”

The Holmes team will continue to operate from their existing offices in Tulsa and Little Rock and will become part of Hub International Mid America.

HUB is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and is an international insurance brokerage firm that provides property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services through offices located in North America.

“Our geographic reach, global resources and national and regional carrier relations provide us access to more insurance markets with solutions that are tailored to the state and client needs, while our regional structure allows us to be proactive in addressing local markets,” said Trey Biggs HUB Midwest President & CEO. “We are also one of the few agencies that can facilitate cross-border business in the United States, Canada and Mexico. HUB really stands apart from the rest.”
