TeleTech To Fill 120 Positions At Jonesboro Site

A company that operates a call center in Jonesboro is looking to hire at least 120 people over the next several weeks to fill a variety of jobs.
Officials with TeleTech Holdings, Inc., announced the company’s location in Jonesboro will be hosting job fairs June 10, 11 and 18 to hire customer services and sales representatives as well as licensed healthcare insurance sales agents.
Company officials announced in July 2014 that they would hire 150 people when they opened the Jonesboro facility.
When the facility on Caraway Road – the site of a former grocery store – opened in Sept. 2014, officials announced plans to hire another 150 people.
As for the job fair, company officials said the company will pay the cost of licensing training and exam fees for pre-qualified applicants interested in the healthcare insurance sales program.
In February 2015, Craighead County justices approved a plan to allow the company to participate in the Arkansas Sales Tax Back program.
Under the program, companies are allowed to use the refunds of local sales taxes to do certain work-related building renovations.
At the meeting, a company official, James Jeune, told justices that the facility had close to 400 employees with a definite opportunity to expand.
Jeune also told justices that about 75% of the customers at the Jonesboro facility were in the healthcare industry.

The company will host three job fair opportunities during the month of June.
They include:
· Wednesday, June 10 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., TeleTech Jonesboro, 2908 South Caraway Road in Jonesboro.
· Thursday, June 11 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., TeleTech Jonesboro, 2908 South Caraway Road in Jonesboro.
· Thursday, June 18 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, 1515 South Caraway Road, Jonesboro.
