A Barcamp Lesson On Storytelling
In his Barcamp Little Rock session last weekend, Chad Williamson of Noble Impact shared the power of storytelling. In doing so, he relayed a couple of stories from his own career.
When he closed, he summed up elements of a great story, elements shared by the Stanford Storytelling Project.
Those three elements were “Personal, Memorable and Impactful.” When we share stories – ours or the stories of others – our ideas resonate with others.
Entrepreneurs are always pitching. They are pitching their idea, their startup or their team to someone else. There are a lot of ideas that must come together when starting a business.
Stories can help connect ideas with people.
