FLW Pro Angler Rich Dalbey Hosts Food Drive at Beaver Lake / John Q Hammons Center Saturday, April 25&26, 2015 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Rich Dalbey, FLW professional angler, will host a food drive for the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.  Rich Dalbey has qualified for the Forrest L. Wood Cup Championship Tournament three times, finishing third in 2012, as a co-angler. When he is not on the road, Rich enjoys volunteering at his local food bank. Seeking to bring an awareness of the need in some of the communities where the FLW tournaments are held, Rich invites people to bring cans of food to the FLW Expo. The FLW Expo will be Saturday & Sunday, Aril 25&26, 2015 from 12PM-4PM at Rogers Convention & Visitors Bureau, 317 W Walnut Street, Rogers, AR 72756. Everyone who brings 5 cans of food will be entered to win a $50 Walmart gift card.

Dalbey, who was presented the 2014 Forrest L. Wood Sportsmanship and Community Leadership Award, said, “My goal in starting Hooked on Helping was to give back to the communities that we visit on the FLW Tour. I also hoped that others would join in this mission, and I’m honored that Todd and Red Gold have values that align with mine and have offered to help with our cause. It’s quite a blessing.”

We are very excited to have Red Gold Tomatoes and Todd Hollowell supporting the cause this year.  Hollowell, a 4th year Tour pro, saw an opportunity to help Dalbey’s cause and took action. “I’ve come to know Rich from fishing the FLW Tour, and I have a lot of respect for him for his selflessness and humility. I wanted to get involved personally to help Rich and to help bring awareness to Hooked on Helping. Red Gold has generously agreed to donate 1000 pounds of tomato products – that’s amazing.”
