An original theater work,in-development, charting the journey of two NJ boys seeking greener pastures. Based on the music and lyrics of Bruce Springsteen. Book by Adam Max & Alex Wyatt.
The Promised Land, charts the coming-of-age journey of two blue-collar bound high school graduates that dream of breaking the mold and finding greener pastures outside of their small New Jersey town. Through relationship roller coasters, overbearing parents, impulsive decisions and heroic challenges the boys learn more than they’d ever expect as the seek their ‘promised land’.
All of this, set to 30+ Springsteen songs including Born to Run, Dancing in the Dark, Badlands, Thunder Road and others.
