NWACC seeks home-schoolers for concurrent enrollment

NorthWest Arkansas Community College will host a Home School event Feb. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. that will provide information for home-schooled students and their families regarding concurrent enrollment opportunities and the transition to college.
This event will take place in the Walmart Auditorium of the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies on the college campus in Bentonville. Representatives from the college will be available during that time frame to discuss opportunities for home-schooled students.
Informational tables will be set up from admissions, financial aid, academic divisions, concurrent enrollment and scholarships. Transfer services, degree programs and courses and Adult Education also will provide information.
Door prizes will be offered and individuals participating can learn about transitioning to college, taking college classes while still in high school and preparing for the GED exam.
