A group working with youth entrepreneurs will hold its annual Arkansas Expo Day, a showcase for 5th through 8th grade students to spotlight their entrepreneurial ideas.

The Youth Entrepreneur Showcase (Y.E.S) is a project of the Arkansas Economic Acceleration Foundation (AEAF), an affiliate of The Arkansas Capital Corporation Group.

Every year, AEAF hosts the expo, where 25 Y.E.S. finalists will set up booths and sell their products at Little Rock’s Park Plaza mall. This year’s event is on January 16th from 10 a.m. to noon. An awards ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m.

An eight-member volunteer panel of business and education leaders will judge the teams on creativity, innovation, marketing, and booth display.

A representative of Frost, PLLC in Little Rock will assist AEAF staff in tallying the scores.

AEAF’s mission is to promote and foster the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in Arkansas.
