A new campaign ad out from Fourth District GOP Congressional nominee Bruce Westerman does a good job both presenting a biography of the candidate – full of faith, family, and football – while at the same time positioning himself against unpopular President Barack Obama.

“The values Bruce Westerman learned growing up earned him a spot with the Razorbacks and guide him today in raising a family and in business,” says the ad while showing picture of Bruce’s football jersey, his family, and his fishing boat. The ad says that Westerman fought for “more jobs, less spending, and against the Obama agenda,” while he served as House Majority Leader in the Arkansas House of Representatives.

The TV ad will beginning airing with an initial ad buy of around $200,000 in the Little Rock market and should stay up through Election Day less than a month away.

Westerman faces Democrat James Lee Witt in the general election.
