The latest ranking from U.S. News & World Report has the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas tied for 45th place for best undergraduate business programs in the nation, according to the Arkansas Newswire.

Among only public schools, the Walton College tied for 29th place.

Deans and senior faculty at all undergraduate programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business were asked this spring to rate the quality of programs for their peer schools, and the “Best Schools 2015” undergraduate rankings were based solely on those peer assessments.

Walton College scored an average of 3.3 out of 5, up slightly from last year and accounting for the two-rank jump from 47th place, according to the Newswire.

According to the Newswire, the Walton College has ranked in the top 30 (public schools) and top 50 (overall) undergraduate business programs each year since the report premiered in 2004.
